Odd Arvid Strømstad

Odd Arvid started his career at the Norwegian national broadcaster NRK and has since built an international reputation for large production events. He is now Commercial Director of Live Nation Norway (the biggest Concert and Entertainment producer in the world). He has received three Amanda Awards and three Norwegian Emmys (“Gullrute”).

Strømstad has more than 30 years experience as a television producer. He has been responsible for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert for 19 years, the opening of the International Seed Vault in Svalbard and Football for Africa, a live broadcast to 20 countries from Senegal. He produced the daily 3-hour broadcast from the Lillehammer Olympics in 1994 and the Eurovision Song Contest Final in 1996. He was executive producer of the King and Queen’s 75th Anniversary, broadcast from the roof of the Opera house in Oslo, and, fifteen years earlier, the producer of the King and Queen’s 60th anniversary celebrations in Trondheim.

He is behind more than 200 music programs for public broadcasting, including some of the most successful webcasts in Norwegian history.
