Eirik Leganger Nergård is Senior Communications Officer at EAT. He plays a leading role in producing communications materials across multiple platforms and serves as lead contact on proactive and reactive media opportunities in Norwegian.
Eirik has more than 15 years of experience working with various forms of communications. He was an Economic Journalist and Chess Writer in the Norwegian newspaper Dagsavisen, has been Art Director and Managing Editor for the Egmont-owned magazine Her og Nå, and Senior PR Manager for the game developer and publisher Funcom. Prior to joining EAT, Eirik worked as a Media Consultant and Writer in his own company, Nergård Media Consulting.
Eirik holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic Journalism from BI Norwegian Business School. His work has been on the cover of national newspapers and magazines more than 300 times. During his time as Managing Editor, Her og Nå was awarded Egmont Publishing Brand of the Year. Eirik is a Norwegian national.
