Dr. Julio Frenk

Julio Frenk, M.D., M.P.H., Ph.D. Since January 2009, Julio Frenk has been Dean of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is also T. & G. Angelopoulos Professor of Public Health and International Development, a joint position with the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.

Dr. Frenk also served as Minister of Health in Mexico from 2000 to 2006. He was the founding Director General of the National Institute of Public Health in Mexico, and is a member of of the U.S. National Academy of Medicine, and a Board Member of the United Nations Foundation.
