EAT is excited to introduce a renewed Advisory Board, composed of a diverse mix of returning and new global leaders committed to transforming how the world eats, produces and thinks about food. From science and policy to business, culture and storytelling, these advisors offer deep expertise, fresh perspectives, and creativity to one of the biggest challenges of our time.
Food is more than what’s on our plates. It reflects the health of our climate, our economies and our societies. It shapes everything from childhood development to geopolitical stability. At EAT, we see food not just as part of the problem but as a powerful opportunity for change.
For over a decade, we’ve been working to reimagine and rebuild food systems to serve both people and planet. We’ve faced pushback, slow-moving institutions and competing interests, but we’ve also seen the momentum that builds when people come together with purpose and imagination. That is what this new Advisory Board represents.
Our new advisors are scientists, storytellers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, military and philanthropy leaders, farmers, investments and business representatives, chefs, and youth leaders. They are global voices with local roots, offering perspective, urgency and practical experience. Some have shaped national policy, or defended our freedom, others have moved markets or shifted public opinion. All of them are united by a belief that food systems can and must do better.
Our vision is clear: a world where food systems are fair, sustainable and healthy; where innovation serves everyone, not just a few; where nourishment is a right, not a privilege; and where power is used not to preserve the past but to shape a more just and sustainable future.
“Across the world, we are seeing two types of coalitions emerge,” said Gunhild Stordalen, Co-founder and Executive Chair at EAT. “There are those working to hold onto broken systems, and those working to build something better. This Advisory Board is firmly in the second camp.”
To our new and returning advisors, thank you for joining us.
