Odd Arvid Strømstad

Odd Arvid started his career at the Norwegian national broadcaster NRK and has since built an international reputation focusing on large production events. Receiving three Amanda Awards and two Golden Routes, he is now Managing Director of Warner Bros. International Television Production Norway.

Strømstad has more than 30 years experience as a television producer. He has been responsible for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert for 19 years, the opening of the International Seed Vault in Svalbard and Football for Africa, a live broadcast to 20 countries from Senegal. He produced the daily 3-hour window during the Lillehammer Olympics in 1994, the Eurovision Song Contest for the whole of Europe in 1996. He was executive producer of "King and Queen's 75th Anniversary" on the roof of the Opera house in Oslo, and also the producer for the King and Queen's 60th anniversary in Trondheim.

He is responsible for more than 200 music programs for the national broadcaster, including some of the most successful webcasts in Norwegian history.
