The National Geographic Society is one of the world’s largest nonprofit scientific and educational organizations. With a mission to inspire people to care about the planet, the member-supported Society has funded more than 11,000 scientific research, conservation, and exploration projects.
This year National Geographic is exploring all things food with an ambitious multimedia series. We kicked off the series in April at natgeofood.com, and the May cover story of National Geographic magazine focused on how to feed a growing global population while preserving our planet. This fall, we will continue to focus on food with live events, exhibits, and more—including a six-part miniseries that will air across the world on the National Geographic Channels.
