The new Food, Planet, Health website showcases news, case studies, data tools and Commissioner profiles. The site will connect stakeholders from around the globe with the ongoing work of 20 world-leading researchers who are creating the first science-based targets for a future food system with sustainable and healthy diets for all.
In 2018, the Commission will deliver its final report with clear guidelines for policy-makers, business and consumers on how to achieve diets that are good for people and planet. They explain the process like a mini IPCC assessment: A review of the vast scientific knowledge we already have about healthy diets and sustainable food production, to define the scientific consensus on food, helping turn science into solutions and discussions into action.
