Assan Ng’ombe is the Resilience Officer for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA). He is an international development expert with extensive experience in climate change, poverty reduction, rural livelihoods, agriculture development and environmental management in Africa. He is also serves as AGRA’s expert building sustainable food systems in Africa. Prior to joining AGRA, he worked with national and international development stakeholders in capacity building programmes at both project and policy levels. At AGRA he provides technical advice and manages the integration of resilience in agriculture development along the different value chains in over 11 countries, in Africa. He has prior experience working with the United Nations System in East and Southern Africa.
