Graduate Intern – Knowledge and Action Teams
Location: Oslo, Norway
Contract: 4-month fixed-term, with the possibility of a 2-month extension

About the Internship
EAT is seeking a motivated and curious graduate student to join our Knowledge and Action Teams as an intern. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-level dialogues, cutting-edge research, strategic collaborations, and systemic food systems transformation.
The intern will support a diverse range of activities within the EAT Knowledge and Action Teams, which serves as a central node connecting a diversity of food system Knowledge and Action actors across sectors and scales, to connect, access and collectively unpack leading knowledge, learn from others’ experiences, and foster actionable insights that drive systemic change.
The EAT intern will play an active role in supporting the EAT Action Dialogues with ten Communities for Action, assisting with the planning and coordination of the 2025 EAT-Lancet Commission’s regional launches, as well as participating in the early consultation process for EAT-Lancet 3.0. This internship is an ideal opportunity for a graduate student eager to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of research, policy, and practice in the global food systems space.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Project management and coordination support across the Knowledge and Action teams
- Support the development and delivery of research and knowledge products
- Events and dialogues preparation and coordination, liaising with technical and logistics teams
- Materials preparation, drafting of presentations and documents
- Event follow-up, drafting of key messages and outcome products
- Tracking of EAT Knowledge-Action teams activities and projects (through Project Portfolios, After Action Reviews, incorporation of feedback and gathering of data and insights for internal learning, monitoring and impact measurement)
Key qualifications and skills
- Masters or graduate student
- Fluent in English
- Demonstrated project management and coordination experience
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently and with a high-level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in food systems transformation, global health, sustainability issues, social justice, and/or international development
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously
- Event organisation experience (preferred)
- At ease with a variety of digital tools (Google and Microsoft tools, Canva, etc)
