Dr. Aliou Ba is a Ocean Campaign Lead for Greenpeace Africa, an environmental organization that focuses on protecting forests, oceans, food and promoting renewable energy. Dr. Ba is based in Dakar, Senegal, and has been working with Greenpeace since 2018. As a Ocean Campaign Lead for Greenpeace Africa, Dr. Ba’s work involves advocating for the protection of Oceans in Africa, supporting local communities in their efforts to protect the ocean through their activities, and campaigning against the destruction of oceans through illegal fishing, fishmeal industries, and other harmful practices.
