EAT and TikTok Partner to Elevate Food Education Through Creator Storytelling
EAT is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with TikTok, one of the world’s leading platforms for content discovery and connection. The collaboration aims to strengthen public understanding of food and nutrition, and inspire healthier, more sustainable food choices through engaging, culturally relevant content.
The partnership will officially launch at the Stockholm Food Forum on October 3-4, 2025, where TikTok will participate as a partner. As part of this collaboration, TikTok creators will capture and share content highlighting the importance of evolving food systems.
Beyond the Forum, EAT and TikTok will co-develop a creator food education program designed to equip trusted messengers with the tools and knowledge to communicate accurate, engaging and actionable nutrition information on the platform. This global initiative will harness the art of storytelling to translate nutrition science into accessible and relatable narratives that reflect everyday food practices and reach audiences where they are most active.
The Main Ingredient Program, launched in Brazil this week, aims to reach millions of people globally in the next few years, to help enhance knowledge about food and nutrition and to unite communities around shared food experiences.
“Social media is where billions of people learn about food every day. By teaming up with TikTok, we can combine EAT’s science with the creativity of digital communities to cut through misinformation and make healthy, sustainable eating easy and appealing,” said Iain Shepherd, Chief Communications Officer of EAT.
“TikTok is uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between nutrition science with everyday food culture in ways that resonate with people around the world. Through this partnership with EAT, we’re harnessing the power of our global community to share inspiring, practical, and delicious food stories that empower healthier choices and lasting habits” said Ara Yoo, Global Head of Social Impact of TikTok.
This collaboration between EAT and TikTok will highlight how digital platforms can be powerful drivers of food education, and showcases how cross-sector partnerships can help shift global conversations and enable healthier and more sustainable diets.
