The EAT-Lancet report will be presented by EAT’s Science Director & part of the EAT-Lancet Commission, Dr. Fabrice DeClerck. Reactions to the report will be expressed through a number of reflections from different sectors and disciplines featuring Prof. Anna Peeters (Director of the Institute for Health Transformation, Deakin Unviersity), Prof. Martin Cole (Deputy Director of Agriculture and Food, CSIRO), Mr. Eli Court (Program Manager, ClimateWorks) and Mr. Sean de Cleene (Head of Food Systems Initiative, WEF).
The findings will be further expressed through an animated film, an interview with producer of War on Waste, Mr. Craig Reucassel, and a dynamic panel debate moderated by Danelle Nierenberg (Founder and CEO of Food Tank). The session will conclude with insights from Dr. David Nabarro, Curator of Food Systems Dialogue.
The launch will be a part of festival21: a a massive, grass-roots celebration of food, culture, and future seeking to use knowledge, leadership, art and narrative to demonstrate the powerful potential of food. To read more about festival21, click here.
