Carolina Yang

Carolina is Digital Communications Officer. In this role, Carolina supports social media strategies, campaigns, and channel management to amplify the impact by bridging science and action through outreach and engagement in the digital space.

Prior to joining EAT in August 2023, Carolina worked as a Communications Officer at Stockholm Environment Institute on climate and sustainable development projects, and Social Media Manager at Sweden Foodtech to promote sustainable food systems.

Driven by her passion in sustainable food systems, she also contributed to articles addressing the issues of existing agricultural systems at the Swedish Development Forum, and supported different social media channels such as Bee the Change Lund, a beekeeping project on raising awareness of pollinators and biodiversity, the Climate Students Lund, a student moment to push for climate actions from the university, and Pick Food Up, a kitchen dedicated to reducing food waste by upcycling surplus food.

Carolina holds a master’s degree in agroecology from Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and a bachelor’s degree in Forestry and Resource Conservation from National Taiwan University, whilst on exchange semesters at the University of Copenhagen and Umeå University. Carolina is a Taiwanese national.
