Ankit Kawatra

Mr. Ankit Kawatra is the founder of Zomato Feeding India, a non profit he started quitting his corporate job, post witnessing massive food wastage in an Indian wedding in 2014. Today, Zomato Feeding India is the country’s largest social organization solving hunger and food waste working with 26,000 volunteers, 5 structured programs across 104 cities and has served 90+ million meals to people in need. Ankit serves as a key spokesperson on issues of food security, societal inequality and social entrepreneurship on several international platforms such as UNGA, UN FAO CFS, CoP. He is the winner of several prestigious awards including – the Queen’s Young Leader Award from HM Queen London, UN Young Leader for SDGs, Forbes 30 under 30 Honouree, National Youth Award India, GQ 50 Most Influential Indians, Most Innovative Give Back Award – Prince of Bahrain and TED India speaker among others.
