EAT Advisory Board

33 people, experts and enthusiasts.

The Advisory Board is made up of representatives from EAT’s academic partner institutions and eighteen world-renowned experts from digital media, the food service industry, politics, international development and more. The breadth of the group illustrates EAT’s vision of cross-sectoral collaboration. The Advisory Board aims to be diverse with respect to age, gender and geography. It is the supervisory body of EAT’s research, projects, activities and long-term strategies, and provides guidance, input and advice for the development and expansion of the EAT Initiative. This includes defining research priorities, ensuring the scientific quality of the EAT Stockholm Food Forum and EATx seminar programs, advising on new partnerships and increasing public involvement. The Advisory Board authors and co-authors academic publications and makes difficult decisions as the jury for the Local EAT Award. It is chaired by Professor Johan Rockström, Executive Director of the Stockholm Resilience Centre at Stockholm University. The SRC is EAT’s main academic partner and the centre of EATs research activities.
