EAT Advisory Board

30 people, experts and enthusiasts.

The Advisory Board encompasses the Heads of EAT’s twelve academic partner institutions, in addition to eighteen world-renowned experts from the digital media, food service industry, politics, development cooperation and more, in order to live up to EAT’s vision of cross-sectoral collaboration. The Advisory Board also aims to be diverse with respect to generation, gender and geography. The Board is the supervisory body of EAT’s research, activities and long-term strategies, and serves to provide guidance, input and advice to the further development and expansion of the EAT Initiative, such as setting research priorities, ensuring the scientific quality of the EAT Stockholm Food Forum and EATx seminar programmes, as well as advising on new partnerships and public involvement. The Advisory Board also contributes to academic publications, and consult on nominations as jury members of the EAT Awards. It is chaired by Professor Johan Rockström (Executive Director, Stockholm Resilience Centre (SRC) at The Stockholm University). The SRC is EAT’s main academic partner and constitutes the epicentre for EATs research coordination. A selected group of independent expert Strategic Advisors provides additional support to EAT’s activities.
