Three principles for a healthier planet and a healthier you

In this recently released TEDMED talk, Gunhild Stordalen explores the powerful connections between food, health and climate.

What if there is a combined cure for both human health and the environment? What if that cure isn’t something far out on the horizon, but rather, something right in front of us, that we can act on every day?!

The world’s population is growing rapidly. However how to feed that growing population in way that is both sustainable and healthy is one of the greater global challenges of our generation. Any solution will require collaboration across science, politics, business and civil society on setting science-based targets, creating coherent policies and new business models.

How does such a solution translate into practical, everyday food choices? What can we as consumers do?

In her TEDMED talk, Gunhild Stordalen, EAT-founder and president, highlights three simple science-based principles for a healthier planet and a healthier you.
